Here is relief

Hi!
How are you?

'Fine' may not be the immediate answer to that question. 'Afraid', perhaps. We are, indeed, at an interesting period in our country- a war, a falling shilling, ever-hiking fuel costs, sugar shortage, poisonous relief food already fed to thousands of people, 1/10th of the the drugs sold in our country is fake... News is almost always bad news.
However, Christ  told us to 'see that we are not alarmed, for these must take place'. He foretold to us these things so that 'in Him we may have peace'.
(John 16.33)
Our hope in Christ IS our joy. Our ever Good news.
Much that happened  in the ministry front, last month, but here are a few things I'd like you to thank God through, with me. I hope He will encourage/inspire you through them.

September/ October

1. -Speaking engagements in Kenyatta University and my local church

2. -Virtual Ministry: Evangelism and Connecting with student-disciples over the internet

3. -A trip to resource our Kisumu LMK branch to plan their own ex-candidates ministry.

4. - Meetings with the leaders heading the ministries in Thika, Eldoret and Nakuru in preparation for their own ex-candidate programs in January.

5. -Trainings for 'catalytic ministry' (How to begin movements in several campuses at the same without necessarily staying near any

Change of name!

The team agreed to change the name of our ex-candidates program to 'Bridge', as it used to be called some years back.
We thought this new name communicates the purpose of the program more easily, i.e. bridging the gap between form four and campus/college.

Pray for...
1. Pray for me, for wisdom and strength, as I lead the teams in Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret, Thika and Nakuru for the on-coming ex-candidates program (Now re-named to 'Bridge')

2. Pray for all the logistics related to a successful administration of next year's program.

3. Pray for all the students who will join Bridge, that they will be irreversibly transformed into radical believers with Christ-centered lifestyles.
4. Pray for all believers in workplace ministry platforms and those in full-time vocational ministry as we serve our Lord accordingly.
Thanks for your support. May the fruit in this ministry increase to your credit.
Regards,

Kajuma.
